On March 25th, 2024, YouTuber gardenhead posted the song on their channel. According to them, it was found on a cassette tape from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, and they compared it to Panchiko. Soon, for unknown reasons, the song was only available via link.
Soon after, gardenhead uploaded their own remaster of the song, which contains a second more than the original upload, hinting they might have a slightly longer recording, which was accidentally cut off.
On May 5th, 2024, YouTuber unknownsongz re-published the song on their channel. Unlike the original publication, the song had the vocals enhanced for a clearer sound and noise was removed.
2025[]
On June 29th, 2025, gardenhead claimed to have found the song. They said that it was made by an American band from the late 1990's called Plan B, and they'd send people the full song on Discord or Telegram.
On July 4th, 2025, the OP claimed they sent the full song to another user on Discord, and that the band disbanded around 2005. They said they wouldn't post the song on YouTube, due to them not wanting to post other people's work.
On July 11th, 2025, the OP said they were unable to access Discord, and they said the title song was titled War, and still, they didn't provide any proof, causing people to suspect it being a hoax.
On August 9th, 2025, the OP responded to a comment asking for information, and they said the vocalist was named Andy Knights. On the same day, Discord user AzureBlast noted how the OP made music, and their voice sounded very similar, meaning its most likely a hoax,
