Whispering is a partially identified instrumental cover of the Jazz song Whispering first recorded by Paul Whiteman. This version was released by Syrena - Electro in Poland in 1934, credited to no orchestra. (Note that some of the presumed artists' names were listed as "Schonberger-Engel".)
Although the people mentioned on the label are confirmed as John Schonberger and Kurt Engel, no lead for the orchestra is discovered as of 2025.[1]

On March 5th, 2010, YouTube user and record collector 240252 uploaded the song to their channel, saying neither the performer's/band's name were mentioned on the label. Instead, they listed known information on the record, including the mysterious people names, "Schönberger" and "Engel". The listed information goes:
"Whispering ( Szczebiot ptaków) Fokstrot (Schönberger /Engel) - Ksylofon solo z tow. orkiestry (Xylophone solo acc. by Orchestra), Syrena-Electro, 1934 (Polish re-pressing)"[2]
Here's the other quote what they mentioned about the artists at "NOTE" (The last parts are cut off):
"NOTE: Unfortulately, neither the virtuose's nor the band's names are mentioned on the label. That lovely tune, which was composed in 1920 and made famous by Paul Whjiteman in mid-Twenties, will remain totally anonymous unless someone from YT listeners will recognize the artists?..."[2]
On June 17th, 2022, user Helvio Mendes confirmed under the comment, that "Schönberger" referred to German composer John Schonberger and "Engel" referred to Polish artist Kurt Engel. Kurt's name was also credited on another record of the same version released by Kristal. Helvio didn't mention how he solved the artist but it's most likely because he had discovered the said Kristal's record posted on YouTube a year earlier.
"Schönberger is John Schonberger - he is the composer this song Engel is Kurt Engel - German percussionist and composer, who also performed as a xylophone, vibraphone and marimba player in jazz and entertainment music. B. 1909 - D. 1967. Z Tow. Orkiestry was a Polish Orchestra."[1]
Even though the particular people on the label are identified, the orchestra remains unknown.
