Theories & Leads
As onow, we have discovered nothing about the origin of multiple voice lines heard in the song, but they must've been sampled from other songs, shows or cartoons. At least the two lines, "We have cake" and "But for whom?", are pulled from the same person's dialogue, and probably the "And that man was Gene" line as well. Except the out-of-context "Bring your skateboards, kids" line is most likely pulled from another person, there is no notable information on it at this time.
About the character, "Gene", mentioned in the song, he most likely featured on a show before earlier 2002. Every possible candidate character fitting this criteria is:
- Gene (Gene Valaitis) from The Jess And Gene Show (1986-1997)
- More to be added.
