Volpmail is a now-inactive user of the voicemail blocking application YouMail who were active around the 2010s. They were responsible for posting more than 40 voicemail greetings that featured various parodies/comedies. Most of the audio's origin are unrevealed but some parodies apparently originate from P2P file sharing services (such as Napster). All of their voicemail greetings have at least over 2,000 views.
Limiting it to unknown songs, they are known as the poster of "Eat Fried Chicken" and "50 Bucks To Buy A Latte", both of which were uploaded to YouTube as Lostwave officially by Lostwave's Unfinest much later.
History[]
Although not much is known about their identity, they are supposed to have start their activity around 2009 or 2010 at least. Their first post would be "Astro Call," which was an impersonation of an astronaut calling from the space shuttle.
The most known voicemail greeting that Volpmail ever shared is "Cat In The Kettle", a parody of Harry Chapin's "Cat In The Cradle," later retitled "Funny Chinese Food Song" by themselves when posting. This has viewed over 38,000 as of 2025.
They have been inactive indefinitely at this point.
