Up From The Ground (formerly known as Fall To The Ground) is a formerly unidentified downtempo/tribal folk song by Michigan based musician Ilene Barnes, released in 2000 on the France exclusive album Set You Free.

The song was posted to WatZatSong on February 17th, 2009, by user Caramhell. They didn’t provide any information about the song, nor a longer snippet, but as they were French, it was theorized the artist was too.
On April 22nd, 2022, the song was identified by WZS user WooMe as Up From The Ground by Ilene Barnes after finding an upload of a 2017 live performance on Ilene’s YouTube channel.
Later that day, audio of the song’s studio version was posted to YouTube by user UsrDeletedFromPlanet after someone on Discord shared it to them.
On August 30th, 2023, the full album that included the song was posted to YouTube by user Q, being the fourth full album she posted.
