On April 27th 2024, SpikeytheCactus uploaded the song to YouTube, with the video including the song becomin the second oldest one in his channel. The video's title was later rewritten as "Cold Case".
On April 28th 2024, user johnpaulcarr posted the song to WatZatSong. The OP didn't remember the song's name and stated that the song was recorded from an unknown online radio station. Considering the OP's claim, it was formerly thought to be recorded on the Internet before between the 1990s and 2000s.
On January 27th, 2025, user fideoentertainment identified the song as “Trouble” by EM Gavela, finding in their album "The Golden Rule". The album was released in July 2024. However, the original post by johnpaulcarr dated back to April 2024, so it is likely that the song was played on a radio station before the release.
