Lyrics[]
[Chorus]
I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away, away
[Verse 1]
I, FYI took my time just to get by, you know?
I know what takes, what it gotta be
More cash than monopoly
Bright lights and the privacy
Far from past poverties
Who's who, who still stashed for the the two thou-
CL with the top down (CL with the top down)
Oh wow, look at me now, Saint-Tropez
Soaking the rays, sip rose
Everyday, find a little shawty in lingerie (lingerie)
Wine and dine, I find the spine
And it's only but a person to style, to find
She's a cool breeze and in the palm trees and we're chilling in the spot laying overseas
[Chorus]
I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away, away
[Verse 2]
I'd do a thousand miles
Make times, had doubts, but ever shine
Came in with a humble mind
Now we in Dubai just to pass my time
I walked a fine line I see now it's your time
Was it cash to finally please me,
Or the thought that I never give up so easy?
The new singer, my mind at ease
Now we out in the east speaking Cantonese (Oooh)
And come on please help me find my keys!
And we out in Japan eating Japanese (Ah!)
It only takes but to find a way
Never dwell upon on your yesterdays, and
The truth is never have regrets
And I became a better man from the looks of it
[Chorus]
I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'b-bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away, away
'Cause I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away
[Verse 3]
I got a hold on this thang, they call it the future fame
And you know the outcome of thangs, this game will never be the same
No shame when I gotta go and floss the chain
Now, how I'm gon' act like it's all the same
The truth is, I do it for a reason
I'm on an island with only one season
The past days are fair haze
I eliminated my fanbase
I'm past all my bad days
Now I'm sailing past lucious cascades
Yeah, you ain't the one player just got next
And Imma claw past second like a true Rolex
And uh, like don't weave, yo I stay on track
And like Ls hat, reverse, yo I cant go back
What!
[Chorus]
I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'b-bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away, away
'Cause I, I've been living my life today, today
There's something 'bout them yesterdays, 'sterdays
That always seems so away, away
