Lyrics[]
Do you ever think about me
Sometimes when you're all alone
Wondering why I've never written
Or called you on the telephone
Tell me, did you ever doubt me
Even though we disagreed
So why believe the things you hear about me
'Cause darling, you're the one I need
Remember when we were together
Wondering where it all could lead
Oh, don't believe all the things you hear about me
Darling, you're the one I need
Di, di, di...
Tell me, did you ever doubt me
Even though we disagreed
So why believe the things you hear about me
'Cause darling, you're the one I need
Remember when we were together
Wondering where it all could lead
Oh, don't believe all the things you hear about me
Darling, you're the one I need
Di, di, di...

Maxi, Dick & Twink[]
Maxi, Dick & Twink is an Irish female vocal trio of the late 1960s and early 1970s consisting of Irene McCoubrey (Maxi), Barbara Dixon (Dick) and Adel King (Twink). The group was formed in 1967 with support from producer Fred O'Donovan, initially working as backup vocalist for other artists and then releasing their own singles on Columbia Records. Their most famous track, Things You Hear About Me, won second place at the National Irish Song Contest in 1970. The trio performed on the British TV show Opportunity Knocks and in the Irish television series Steady As She Go-Goes, toured Ireland, Great Britain and Canada. However, due to internal disagreements the group broke up in 1971, and its members subsequently achieved success in solo quarries and other projects, including participation in the competition Eurovision.
