The Station I'm In (Formerly known as "Experimental Synth-pop") is a formerly unidentified song by El Seven, released in 1980. Later being uploaded to YouTube by Kenny Cathead.

On June 10th, 2023, user Kenny Cathead posted a one hour and 25 minute video titled “Unknown” to YouTube. It featured many snippets recorded off of the radio in the 1980s. At the 2:57 minute mark the unidentified song "Experimental Synth-Pop" played.
On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.
On June 25th, 2024, WatZatSong user BlooDude2005 reposted the song to the site, saying in the post's description: "Experimental sounding synth-pop / new wave; not later than 1981", then providing a link to Unknown.
On October 3rd, 2024, user Max Many Mix identified the song as "The Station I'm In" by El Seven, after finding it in a WFMU playlist. Later that day Mike Worst uploaded the song to his channel.
