Not to be confused with The Bing Bong Song or The Beer Song/LimeWire Beer Song and other parodies of "Thong Song" with the same title difference being their number.
"The Bong Song" is an unidentified parody of "Thong Song" by Sisqo, misattributed to "Weird Al" Yankovic and Cheech and Chong.

The song originated from multiple Peer-to-peer sites, dating back to at least May 3rd, 2000. Despite the lyrics, Crisco is not the singer’s name, although a vegetable oil with the pun being how it’s used for baking.
On the YouTube, the most known earlier upload is by BeckyAllis on June 17th 2009, falsely claiming that the song was by Weird Al Yankovic.
It was also said to be The Bong Song by S. T. G. However, in fact, the song by them had the same title but completely different lyrics, and what's more, they actually only wrote the lyrics and never made the song. [1]
On June 15th 2024, Lostwave's Unfinest [OLD] reuploaded the song to his channel, attaching the image of a Minion holding a bong with his bloodshot eyes.
On April 28th, 2025, only a week after user Ziro reposted it to YouTube, the song was shortly labelled as being identified as b song by wtf! after finding it on an archived MP3.com page.[2]
It was unclear if this is the origin of the song or a reupload. As the album cover is the logo of a completely unrelated record label, the description and album name being complete gibberish, and the city the artist is listed as being from, Hicksville, Florida, not actually existing.
On May 23rd, 2025, it was fully confirmed that it was a reupload as opening the file in notepad as a path leading to "Sisquo(thongsong-bongsong).mp3" which is also present in our earliest versions.
