Lyrics[]
[Chorus]
Get your
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Let loose and have some fun
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Fun, get your fun, get your,
[Verse 1]
Ever since I was a young man
Always wanted to play in a band
But people doubted and said you can't
Mama told me be best I can
Said "son, don't let them hate,
Let the world's all yours, get your, get yours
Don't hesitate, go knock on destiny's door"
Yeah
Had no knowledge of what was in store
I did nails and slept on cold floors
[Oxycotin], you don't come back no more
So I looks em up and [took a metal] to the floor
Surrounded myself with players and pimps
Hustler on the street just to make ends meet
Move to the Nut House I was freaking beat
And now I'm here, ya
And I ain't going away,
Now sing it,
[Chorus]
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Let loose and have some fun
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Fun, get your fun, get your,
[Verse 2]
This ain't a remake or a fake
It's all original material to date now
[Leave though/Before] put your guns away
There's no need for no drama, celebrate
Watch me rock you,
Take you to a place
Everybody's [jammin' and/coming in] to shake them things
Let go the ego and the hate
Finally [attract you] to relate to everybody
Throw your hands from side to side
Let's jam, let's jam
The radioactive
Don't come kill the vibe
Yo nut house
What?
Time for some action
Make me feel a real and intense
It can get more live and direct
Soul in the air, make the people go flex
So, [my control] before we blow the set,
Now sing it,
[Chorus]
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Let loose and have some fun
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Fun, get your fun, get your,
[Verse 3]
Puerto Rican Angel
Never shoulda happened
My mama said I'm different
A ninja with soul
What's going on, universal
Rockin' show with no rehearsal
On the rise like a missile to the sky and I'm high
Check me live from the center stage hot at the lava
Or kickin' it with the homie Frank baggin' on his mama
Pop a cherry pop a drop and give me 20
Take it to your pockets take you pot and all your money and your honey
[Jacking] my style, wanna kick it for a while
Givin' me the smile and baby girl was down to your funky ties
Realize who's the dopest rockin' neighborhood
Nut House is the name with the feel good music
And yes you best believe it, no matter what the season
Giving y'all one good reason to go, [vibrant] color
(???) the brand new, y'all know what we came to do
Now sing it
[Chorus]
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Let loose and have some fun
The more you give us money
The more we funk it up
This jam is like the eighties,
Fun, get your fun, get your
[Instrumental Solo]
Antoneus Maximus & The Nuthouze[]
Antoneus Maximus & The Nuthouze was a California-based rap group, active between years 2004 and 2010. The Nuthouze had originally started off as a production team lead by Antoneus Maximus and rapper Mark D. The band mostly played gigs at local Los Angeles venues.
While the band's core members were vocalists Antoneus Maximus (real name Long Mộng Gà) and EIGHTY Bug, beatboxer Spencer Nezey and guitarist James Duval, the identities of their other members are unknown.
The group worked with a variety of artists, including KID of Kid 'n Play, Mark D, and apl.de.ap & Dante Santiago of The Black Eyed Peas. The group's collaborations with the latter was likely the primary reason behind the song's misattribution.
In 2005, the group released their debut single, "The 80's Song" (stylized as "THE 80'S SONG").
They continued to release various singles before putting out their debut album, "The Passport". The album notably featured only one song, "Blood, Sweat & Tears (ft. apl.de.ap)".
The group ultimately disbanded in 2010.
