Tangerine Dream-Like Song is an unidentified 12-second electro instrumental song, It was posted by NY80sTapes on WatZatSong. The name alludes to its similarities with tracks by Tangerine Dream, the German ambient band.

On June 10th, 2023, user Kenny Cathead posted a one hour and 25 minute video titled “Unknown” to YouTube. It featured many snippets recorded off of the radio in the 1980s. The song played 42 minutes and 28 seconds into the video.

On June 25th, 2023, Kenny posted the 12-second snippet to his WatZatSong account NY80sTapes. It was recorded off of a radio station in New York or New Jersey in 1984 or before. He compared it to Tangerine Dream, the German ambient band.

On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.
