Over time, the song was reuploaded to YouTube by several users, such as Fatbird, Jaykay, Zumi, Barni, Q, Jcorsen, LostwaveFinder, ππ. πΆβπππ , and multiple others, amassing over 10k views.
On December 22nd, 2023, the OP returned to the thread and posted the nearly full song to Vocaroo. They still didnβt provide any information though.[1]
On March 3rd, 2024, a channel for the song was created in the Fond My Mind Discord server after winning a channel poll, along with Fly Away, Thought So At The Time, Uptown People, Just Make It Louder, Somewhere In The Night, One More Chance, Rubia, Red Light, Jenny, and The Things We Never Do.
On March 14th, 2024, the OP said that they recorded the song in OsnabrΓΌck, Germany around 1984, either from a German radio station or the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS).[2]
On December 26th, 2024, the OP commented on Q's reupload, providing more information, they said:
"I am the OP (watzatsong). Still have the reel. Inspecting it once more, I can't be sure, that it was broadcast in the North of Germany, since following on the tape are recordings I made earlier (approx. one year) in the South of Germany, that I copied later from another tape to this tape. So @q you are right, maybe before 1983."[3]
