Sylvia is a formerly unidentified indie rock song by New York based band Slowdance, released on November 5th, 2013, along with another song called Trio.

The song was first posted onto SoundCloud by user The Essence Of Music on April 27th, 2021. They provided no information about the song, but they had the full version.
On March 30th, 2023, Ziro reposted the song onto her channel. Less than a day later, the song was then identified by Mike Worst as "Sylvia" by the band Slowdance. The version available online was the version from the band’s 2014 album, but the formerly unidentified version was different,
On June 4th, 2023, the version of the song from the 2013 single was found and posted by onto the band’s BandCamp.

Slowdance[]
Slowdance was an indie rock and shoegaze band from Brooklyn, New York, USA
The band consisted of Kyle McKeveny (guitar), Luke Fox (synths, keyboard), Quay Quinn-Settel (vocals), and Thomas Quiglet (bass). The band’s former members were Sam (drums), Rafa (guitar), and Daniel (drums)
On September 21st, 2011, the band released their first and only EP, Light & Color Ep with four songs.

On September 23rd, 2014, the band released their first and only album, self titled Slowdance. Which included alternate versions of this song and Trio.
A day later, the band disbanded.
