Sunshine Day is a formerly unidentified pop song by Floridian musician Ray Rice, recorded in 1978, and released in 2005.

The song was first posted to YouTube on July 22nd, 2022 by user Callie CD Archive. It came from from OP’s disc collection on a Memorex DVD+R Recordable Disc, it was found in a folder called “From Internet”, meaning OP had gotten it somewhere online. The last modified date was July 23rd, 2005.
User Q reposted the song to her YouTube channel on August 4th, 2022, being either the second or third song she posted to her channel.
On May 21st, 2023, the song was identified by user Discord user Marktrail as Sunshine Day by Ray Rice after he found it on Ray’s ReverbNation.
At first it wasn’t known if the song was a solo project or if it was done as a group, but Ray confirmed he did the song with John Hargus on bass, Reynard Holmes on drums, and Kim Hargerty on guitar.

Ray Rice[]
Ray Rice is a keyboardist and vocalist from Daytona Beach, Florida.
At age 10, he started playing piano and at 12 he started performing at the Cincinnati Conservatory Of Music in Ohio.
He was apart of multiple bands; Ice, East Wind, Razor’s Edge, Nighthawk, Harlot, Kids Next Door, and Target.
