Lyrics[]
[Intro]
Turn the bass up
Bass track
Bass and drums
[Verse 1]
In my world
I can understand it all too well
When I say
Sometimes I tend to be misunderstood
Then I think
I disguise the way I feel inside
Can it be
That everybody feels the way I feel?
[Pre-chorus]
Don’t speak your language
Never could understand you
Doesn’t matter anyway
[Chorus]
As I sit and watch the telephone
Will you call my way?
Does the sound of sleep become insane
Will I hear my name?
When I think the fly is my only friend
Should I change the way I dress?
Should I change the way I talk?
Should I change my plans around?
I’m afraid
[Verse 2]
So I ask
Should I have my head examined? I’ll be okay
Will I find
The reasons I had been misunderstood?
Should I take
Some pills (?) feel some peace inside?
[Pre-Chorus]
Don’t speak your language
Never could understand you
Doesn’t matter anyway
[Chorus]
As I sit and watch the telephone
Will you call my way?
Does the sound of sleep become insane
Will I hear my name?
When I think the fly is my only friend
Should I change the way I dress?
Should I change the way I talk?
Should I change my plans around?
I’m afraid
[Bridge]
Yeah, yeah
Huh-huh!
Yeah, yeah
Huh-huh!
Yeah, yeah
Huh-huh!
Yeah, yeah
[Pre-chorus]
Don’t speak your language
Never could understand you
Doesn’t matter anyway
[Outro]
As I sit and watch the telephone
Will you call my way?
Does the sound of sleep become insane
Will I hear my name?
When I think the fly is my only friend
Should I fly away?
When I think the fly is my only friend
Should I change the way I dress?
Should I change the way I talk?
Should I change my plans around?
