Lyrics[]
Well you know the way I feel
But you just can't understand
Well I'm saying my love for you was real
And I wanna be your man
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
You get the fine time to say
Will find the truth
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
Girl you know
I'm so in love with you
I used to lay and watch your sleep
In the middle of the night
I could feel the darkness in the air
You were the only one who's right
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
You get the fine time to say
Will find the truth
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
Girl you know
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love with you
And if you want your freedom
You know I can't deny
And I can feel the love inside of me
I know we'll never die
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
You get the fine time to say
Will find the truth
You get the fine time
To leave me all alone
Girl you know
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love with you, ooh, ooh, ooh
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love with you
I'm so in love...

Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
Dallas, Texas, November 22nd, '63
The blackest day in American history
In a town where the right cries treason
Of a man who speaks with reason
It's just the right place to kill John F. Kennedy
[Chorus]
They think that you're a threat
Because of where you stand
Money to be made
The hero shall be slayed
The mighty dollar speaks
To C.I. Agency
And generals and admirals
All would get their piece
[Verse 2]
And from a grassy knoll
We know the fatal shot was heard
But the testimony taken
From the testimony given was absurd
When the court has got Lee Oswald
And the facts must be trimmed to convict him
And anything left just overlooked or thrown away
[Chorus]
A bullet that does magic
Then the head snaps backward
The wounds they saw at Dallas
Somehow gotten larger
The body has been altered
The autopsy is faltered
The best of evidence
Has shown it can't be trusted
[Verse 3]
If you'd only read, you would see all the discrepancies
And that what they've told you, there's just no way it can be
So this is the American story
And it's not one of glory
They've killed the president, the conspiracy's bigger than you know
[Outro]
John F. Kennedy, we know, for civil rights, you strived
John F. Kennedy, we know, to save the earth, you tried
John F. Kennedy, to do what was right, you tried
John F. Kennedy, someone has said you must die
And the world will be fooled by your most elaborate lie
John F. Kennedy, you forced them to make their move
Against odds like that, there was nothing you could do but lose
And John F. Kennedy, someone has said you shall die
And John F. Kennedy, for you, the people will cry
And John F. Kennedy, for you, the world will cry
John F. Kennedy, this was a coup d'รฉtat
They've made their move, they've killed you and taken control
Just who's in charge, we'll probably never ever know
And John F. Kennedy, I'll bet for the people, you cry
And John F. Kennedy, I'll bet for this country, you cry
And John F. Kennedy, I'll bet for the world, you cry

I'm a stranger to you
Why, why, why can't you see?
Second time living, come on, help me!
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
You live in the dream, cos you
Can't face the facts, so I
Just got to be clean, got to be, got to be, got to be more in love
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
You same with me, buy you
Demand all of my time
And I need ome myself, can't help me, help me, help me have me all of the time
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
We just fight all the time, even when we agree
Why we do it the wrong way?
Scotty Rand has to end, has to end today
(x4)
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three
So who's going to leave? Is it you? Is it me?
So who's going to leave? That's one of the three

Lyrics[]
Take a ride to the south
The journey taken by us all
When we reach your destinate
Stand and watch the snowfall
With hands deep in cold
To check with silent class
Step out into the road
Repeat and take your chance
One stair to this wall
And then you realize all the truth
Follow up in turning halls
Turn around to be able to move
Stand and watch the snowfall
Stand and watch the snowfall
Beyond the figures up on the glass
Beyond the figures up on the wall
Why am I here?
Why am I there?
Stand and watch the snowfall
Stand and watch the snowfall
See the figures up on the wall
See the figures on the wall
Why am I here?
Why am I there?
Stand and watch the snowfall
Stand and watch the snowfall
Stand and watch the snowfall
Stand and watch the snowfall

Lyrics[]
There's so much stuff between you and me
And what comes out really isn't free
So who can say what you are hearing now
Was inside of my head?
We are controlled by the marketplace
By men and women who have no face
Only voices on the telephone line
And inside of my head
I should have known this years ago
Before we played at our debut show
What we play at the practice space
And what's inside of your head
We live and learn and we do our best
To make the music that is in our head
But what you get in the record store
Is something else instead

Every night, some always on a hot, hot day
The same as ever
People work, and scheme, and play
[Verse 2]
Still, I wonder within their walls
If there's life outside at all
They don't wonder beyond their walls
Searching, searching
Oh whoa, whoa whoa
Oh whoa, whoa whoa
Oh whoa, whoa whoa
Oh whoa, whoa whoa
[Chorus]
Heart, the heart, heart
Heart, the heart, heart
Heart, the heart, the heart is a lonely hunter
[Post-Chorus]
Oh whoa, whoa whoa

Oh whoa, whoa whoa
Oh whoa, whoa whoa
[Verse 3]
Still, I wonder within their walls
If there's life outside at all

Searching, searching
[Bridge]
She is lost
Who will find her?
If he should fall
Who will catch him?
If she is lost
Who will find her?
If he can't feel
Who can touch him?
[Chorus]
The heart, the heart, the heart (heart, heart, heart, heart, heart)
The heart, the heart, the heart (heart, heart, heart, heart, heart)
The heart, the heart, the heart is a lonely hunter

Lyrics[]
A raging sea of humanity
Come to life in agony
An arm from here and a head from there
Stiff leg walkin' and an evil stare
It's a patchwork of flesh and blood
Sewn together with the songs we love
From many parts that make us one
Come together when day is done
Frankenstein when day is done
As I look out into your minds
So many changing emotions I find
An evolution that never ceases
Now the scene has split into a million pieces
Open your mind now
As the scenes design
Another Frankenstein
There's some guys that are different from you
Don't seem to understand a thing that you do
Short hair, long hair, hair that's pink
A way to look and a new way to think
Open your mind now
As the scenes design
Another Frankenstein
Open your mind now
As the scenes design
Another Frankenstein
As I look out into your minds
So many changing emotions I find
An evolution that never ceases
Now the scene has split into a million pieces
Open your mind now
As the scenes design
Another Frankenstein

The first band Jocey and I played in together was a new wave band called ALTERED FEATURES. That was in 1980 and it lasted just a few months. We really wanted to play punk not wave and we looked for a new project and hooked up with Eric Tsuda. He wanted to try his hand at singing and he knew a drummer, 16 year old Keith Johnson. Eric thought up the name of the band and we practiced in his living room at the Punk Palace. A few months later we played our first gig, July 4, 1981 with the DEAD KENNEDYS, THE FIX and 7 SECONDS at the Belmont Ballroom in Fresno. That original line-up was short-lived and by '82 Eric was replaced with Ralph Lotspeich on vocals and a few months later Mike Branum took over drumming duties for Keith. Eric went on to play drums for DEATH OF GLORY and The UNFIT from San Luis Obispo. Keith moved up to San Francisco. In the years to come we would release 5 studio LPs, 4 7-inchers, a couple videos, lotsa demos and compilation tracks for several different labels. We were on a few labels here in the U.S., Mainly my own label, Stagedive Records in Fresno, We Bite Records and Destiny Records in Germany, Unclean Records in Austin, Texas and Alternative Tentacles in San Francisco.

I Got An Inability is a formerly unidentified Alt-rock song by the Warminster based band Sock, which was never officially released. It was recorded onto a demo cassette with about 22 other songs in 1994 and then found its way online.
Search History[]
On June 19th, 2025, WatZatSong user Dolls posted the sample to the site, saying in the post's description:Later that day in the comments, the OP would provide more information saying they downloaded it from a (likely) defunct website over 20 years ago. The next day, WatZatSong user NovrixWasTaken asked for a longer sample to which the OP provided via Vocaroo. Unfortunately, the quality of the sample wasn't much great."I downloaded this from some old 90s website. It says it's from Weird Al, and I kinda hear it, I don't think it's him though"
Two weeks later, YouTube user Lostwave's Unfinest reuploaded the song to their channel under the placeholder name of "I Got An Inability". Not long after, YouTube user Attentotten Potentaten identified the song as "I Got An Inability" by Sock, presumably after finding the upload of full demo tape which was posted only four days earlier.
On November 15th, 2025, it was discovered the song was a hoax after user rocketballboi discovered another song from the OP, and found out that both "I Got An Inability" and this new solve were posted to the same exact archive.org account, both credited. This means that OP took both of their songs from this account and passed them off as unknown.
Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
I can't swim, I can't fly
I can't see cuz I don't have eyes
Got no feet, got no wings
Nothing left to do but sing
Sitting in my nest, singing my song
Doing my thing, all day long
[Chorus]
I got an inability! (uh-huh!)
[Verse 2]
Take a walk, down my street.
Everyone I see, I rob and beat
Estimate yearly costs
Applicate future costs
Lazy days, sleepless nights
Short intakes, long cat fights
[Chorus]
I got an inability! (uh-huh!)
[Verse 3]
Have a [???], Have a [???], have a homicidal [???]
It's a natural novel magnet [???] [???] novelty
[???]
[Chorus]
I got an inability! (uh-huh!)
[Hook]
Nah nana nah nah
Nah nana nah nah
Nah nana nah nah
Nah nana nah nah
(Nah nana nah nah!)
[Verse 4]
I may not know, my own name.
Everyone's always acting the same
Talk too much, to myself
Don't they know that I need help?
I may not know, my own name
Everyone's always playing my game
Don't they know that I'm not me?
I just have an inability
[Chorus]
I got an inability!

Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
I have a friend who, is paranoid
Wears disguises in her own house, wears a mask when going out
[Captured feelings?], guns poke out
And she keeps this vicious dog
Who bites my legs when I've gone around
[Chorus 1]
Oh, let me in
Oh, let me in
There's wings beneath my skin
I'll steal you from the earth
I'll cover you in dirt
Scared of the earth
I'll steal you from the earth
I'll cover you in dirt
Scared of all the world
[Bridge 1]
Breaking, every window
Taking, things you won't know
Leave a letter, try to explain it
Feel better, when you hear the phone ring
I'm waiting in the cold box down the road
[Verse 2]
Just a guy who, collects her things
Freezes her tears in little trays
A prop to while I await my days
[From her museum, in my fly?]
I build a [homebrewed?] hurricane, from hurt, and hair, and fingernails
[Chorus 2]
Oh, let me in
Oh, let me in
There's wings beneath my skin
I'll steal you from the earth
I'll cover you in dirt
Scared of the earth
I'll steal you from the earth
I'll cover you in dirt
Scared of all the world
[Bridge 2]
Breaking, every window
Taking, things you won't know
Leave a letter, try to explain it
Feel better, when you hear the phone ring

Taking, things you won't know
Leave a letter, try to explain it

Glitterbox[]
UK indie band formed in the early nineties. They initially went under the name She, releasing two singles. The band became the object of attention from a number of labels and soon inked a deal with Atlantic. Alas, they discovered that another band in the US had dibs on the She moniker. Rather than calling themselves, say, โShe UKโ or โThe London She,โ the band decided to rename themselves Glitterbox, a handle derived from a scatalogical bit of Cockney rhyming slang.

Ann Arbor, MI troupe had come to the table in 1995 bearing moderate dream pop inclinations, in keeping with one of their home states finest exports of the period, Majesty Crush. Well, fast forward to 1996 for VP's first (and from what I gather only) proper full length, The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter, which illustrates the trio's desire to skew further into the vicinity of downer indie-rock, sans much of the woozy tremolo. The result is an album with lengthier pieces (four surpassing the seven-minute mark in fact) and an unmistakably contemplative ethos

[Verse 1]
I heard it this morning
As if last night hadn't been
I knew they'd be watching
So I tried to fake a choice
[Pre-Chorus]
Days are magical
You might as well know that much
[Chorus]
Hope you're happy you're in the ground
Bet you're glad you're not around
Would I be feeling the same way about me?
[Post-Chorus]
Days are magical
You might as well know that much
Days are magical
You might as well know that much
[Verse 2]
How much for a lifetime
Who wants it anyway?
You've shown perseverance
Have it if you want
[Pre-Chorus]
Days are magical
You might as well know that much
[Chorus]
Hope you're happy you're in the ground
Bet you're glad you're not around
Would I be feeling the same way about me?
[Post-Chorus]

I drink tomato juice every night.
Why don't you get out of my sight?
Before I go to sleep in bed.
I only want to be like tomato head.
I drink tomato juice every night.
I need the red drink in my sight.
Somebody might think I am mad.
I only want to be like tomato head.
Everybody if you want it.
Everybody you can try.
Everybody without thinking.
Everybody it's so easy
Tomato head, tomato head.
I want to want to want to be like tomato head.
I drink tomato juice every night.
Why don't you get out of my sight.
Before I go to sleep in bed.
I only want to be like tomato head.
I drink tomato juice is what I say.
And I became a green plant today.
I photosynthesized in my bed.
Now I'm just tomato head.
Shonen Knife[]
Shonen Knife is a Japanese pop-punk band formed in Osaka in 1981. Influenced by 1960s girl groups, pop bands, the Beach Boys, and early punk rock bands such as the Ramones, the band crafts stripped-down songs with simple yet unconventional lyrics sung both in Japanese and English.
The band has been credited with making "the international pop underground more international" by "opening it up to bands from Japan". They have also performed as a Ramones tribute band under the name the Osaka Ramones. Guitarist/singer Naoko Yamano is the only member to have remained with the band for its entire history; her sister Atsuko Yamano was a founding member and, after a long hiatus, returned to the band in 2016. They have released 22 studio albums; their most recent album Our Best Place was released in February 2023.
In the words of The Boston Globe, "something oddly spellbinding occurs when deceivingly silly lyrics are sandwiched between a buoyant guitar and a rapid-fire, pop-punk drum kit. Which perhaps explains why the Japanese female alternative rock/pop punk trio Shonen Knife is still singing songs about cookies, sushi, jelly beans, and, of course, banana chips."

Presumed Lyrics[]
[?????] (Sprained(?) down, stood(?))
Showers from the window flow our necks
[?????] go (Mine pumpin')
[?????] (Don't take mine)
Find the right door, smashingly straight quick
We've got the orange blood and we'll never get sick
"Better to run, better to die," she told us
"Better to run, better to hide and stop crawlin'"
Lookin' at you on the tip toes
Don't touch the cat
Don't touch the cat
Witch-cat, the witch-cat rises!
Witch-cat says she's ours!
Scratchin' our eyes
Witch-cat says she's ours!
[Interlude]
Where is the spy? (Never suspects)
She kills the cat, picks up and checks
She lives alone (Though, we don't)
Buggers the knife (I've got mine)
Do as you're quick, now she's pushed among the stairs
Stop crawling
on tip toes
cat toes
Witch-cat, the witch-cat rises!
Witch-cat says she's ours!
Pressing our noses
Witch-cat says she's ours!

To beโgood to me
So be good to me
[Verse 2]
You take my life away, you take too much
Never satisfied until I'm broken
Down in the dumps, I'm there looking for more

On this island
Everyones says I'm paranoid
On this island
It's only life
Sending trough๏ปฟ time
You know why
I don't believe it
You know why
I don't just mean it
You know why
I know it's trusted
You know why, you know why
Everyone says I'm paranoid
Which makes it much worse
Everyone says I'm paranoid
This is my last
'Cause only for them
Is our tryst now
You know why I can't get past it
You know why how short it lasted
You know why, oh it's plastic
You know why, you know why
Everyone's on off, on
On Off
Everyones's on off, off
On Off
Only for them
Is our tryst now
You know why I don't believe it
You know why I just mean it
You know why I know it's drastic
You know why, you know why, you know
You know why I can't get past it
You know why how short it lasted
You know why we can't be friends or kind
Everyone says I'm paranoid
On this island
Everyones says I'm paranoid
It's not a crime

[Verse 1]
I met him at a picnic
He'd eaten all the biscuits
Then he went and bought some more
And then he ate them all
He said, "I have some advice for you
And I know you didn't ask
But this could be really nice for you
It's a simple little task"
[Chorus]
It's everything I want, it's everything I need
There's nothing better than a bed with fresh clean sheets
There's nothing better than the sleep you get the first night
I change my sheets ะตvery day because it feels so right
[Verse 2]
I said "You'rะต standing pretty close to me
And also, by the way
I couldn't help noticing a distinct lack of biscuits about your person, despite the fact that you just went to the shop to get some more"
He said "I don't know where they are
I don't know where they are
I just don't know where they are
I don't know where they are
I just don't know where they are, but let me tell you something, buddy, let me tell you something"
[Chorus]
It's everything I want, it's everything I need
There's nothing better than a bed with fresh clean sheets
There's nothing better than the sleep you get the first night
I change my sheets every day because it feels so right
It feels so right
It feels so right
It just feels so right
It just feels so right
It feels so right
It feels so right
I said it feels so right
It just feels so right, you know?
