Search History
2000s-2010s
On September 3rd, 2009, a YouTube channel named "MichaelJackson804" was created.[1] On the same day, its creator uploaded "Sexy Lady", featuring a slideshow of pictures of Michael Jackson. The description reads "New song 2009".[2] Three months after, Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication on June 25th, 2009.
On December 14th, 2010, Portuguese-language WordPress blog "Mulher Luxo" wrote about the song, theorizing that "Sexy Lady", along with other songs "Serious Effect" and "She Got It", were real Michael Jackson songs that were leaked to the public. This is true for those other songs; they were both leaked on December 5th, 2007, although it still isn't clear whether or not if "Sexy Lady" is a leaked Michael Jackson song.
On the same day, a commenter named "Nádia" said she had downloaded the song through LimeWire in 2009.[3]
2020s
On November 17th, 2022, WatZatSong user "cboo" made a post about the song. They uploaded a 30 second clip of another version of the song with different vocals and beats, and said it came from a collection of unidentified songs from a dance music forum.[4]
On June 5th, 2023, u/Wild_mask made a post on r/InternetMysteries about the song, giving a link to MichaelJackson804's video, which had over 10,000 views at the time.[5]
u/KiraTheFourth, a friend of u/Wild_mask, posted on r/Lostwave about the song on June 21st, 2023, also giving a link to the video.[6]
In July of 2023, "@gustav5473" on YouTube posted a comment on the original video,[7] linking a separate video entitled "Frequência Máxima Vol. 18 - Cd Completo", and linked a timestamp that played the WatZatSong version in full.[8] This, combined with Mulher Luxo's Portuguese language blog, suggests that the song has a Portuguese language origin.
Specifically, the comment and the video description references a group named Frequência Máxima, who DJ'ed the song at some point. There is a full link to their discography in the description of the YouTube video.[9][10]
On April 1st, 2024, the song was identified by user MoisesG_ "Sexy Lady" by Joy Em. They had found the song after they searched up “Sexy Lady lost song” and found the YouTube video including the song.
Lyrics
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
(break it down)
I walk on the beach
In my own dreaming
Look into her eyes
I wanna be there
She moves her hips (oh)
She makes me crazy
She's got bitter lips
Oh sexy lady
I want you tonight
I want you all night
Can't you be my baby?
My sexy lady
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
She strikes her hair
Waving to me
She gives me her smile
And wait among us
I can't get enough
She drives me crazy
Just give me your heart
My sexy lady
I want you tonight
I want you all night
Can't you be my baby?
My sexy lady
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
Rolling, rolling, rolling
Give it to me, baby
You're so sweet, I'm on fire
C'mon, baby
Shake it, shake it, shake it
Gimme just a smile for a while
And you know I get high
Baby, moving, moving, moving
To the beat of the drums
Gimme more
Everybody on the dancefloor
Rocking, rocking, rocking
Gimme one more try
My sexy lady
I want you (sexy lady)
To be my sexy lady (my sexy lady)
(I want you)
(To be my...)
(Rocking, rocking, rocking) Ooh
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
(Sexy lady)
Sexy, sexy lady (Oooh)
Sexy, sexy lady (Ooh)
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Sexy, sexy lady (Oooh)
Sexy, sexy lady (Hmm)
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
I want you
To be my sexy lady
I want you
To be my...
