Saxy Jam [Original Mix] (formerly known as Zipitypapa) is a formerly unidentified hard house song by German band Internet and was released as a single that contained two other different remixes in 1996, along with a re-release in 1997.
The text on the cover art roughly translates to "The Good and The Bad".
Search History
On December 17th, 2023, a WatZatSong user named pilo would post the song onto the website, stating that the song came from a mixed cassette from the 1990s, but it featured no list of the names of the songs.
Later, on July 7th, 2024, pilo would provide an extended version of the recording, approximately two and a half minutes in length, via Vocaroo. The uploader noted that on the original mixtape, the track was followed by Red 5's "Lift Me Up" and estimated the recording's timeframe to be between 1997 and 1998.
On July 25th, 2024, popular lostwave uploader Ziro would reupload the song onto her YouTube channel, bringing more attention and creating a more broadened search team for the song. She uploaded this right after another pilo upload, being "Call Me Tonight" (was identified as Woman by Mia).
In September 2024, the vocal scat element has been identified in several other electronic dance music tracks from the mid-1990s, suggesting it may have been sourced from a common sample pack or recording:
- Lifeforce — Scatterbox (1993)
- Bootleg Boys — Casa George (1995)
- West 1 - Let The World Know (Mix 2) (1995)
- Lifeforce — Scatterbrains (1996)
- Unknown Artist — Fellatio (1996)
On November 23rd, 2024, WatZatSong user Skyat found a denoised, yet sped up version of Zipitypapa inside a mixtape named "Winners en Vivo" from 1997.[1] On that same day, a higher quality version of Zipitypapa was discovered in a mixtape called "Winners 1997 ¾ Salon El Rayo Lado A", found by a Discord user named "Murphy".[2]
On December 31st, 2024, WatZatSong user Pace identified the song as Saxy Jam [Original Mix] by Internet, not saying how they solved it, only responding with “Too easy”.

Internet
Internet was a short-lived progressive house group/trio from Germany, they have only two singles to their name.
The trio consisted of: Elisabeth Flickenchild, Tommaso De Donatis and Wolfgang Breuer.
In 1995, the trio put out their first single Ballroom Boogie with three songs:
- Ballroom Boogie (Shaky Vibes Version)
- Ballroom Boogie (Original Version)
- Dance (Sorry, Rolf & Markus Mix)
In 1996, the group put out the single Saxy Jam (this song), along with two other versions:
Both of their songs were featured in plenty of compilation albums across the world, mostly their most popular one Ballroom Boogie.
The trio split up in the early 2000s, but its members are still active in music. Tommaso became a producer and is still working producing songs for German artists.
