Not to be confused with 14 Year Old Sally, an unknown song.
Sally (formerly known as In My Dream) is a formerly unidentified indie art rock song recorded and made by the band Tao Jones, the title is stylized to “Yllas” in the 1992 self-titled cassette tape. The song is a rare case of a song that was solved by the person who originally posted it.

The song was posted to YouTube by user Most Mysterious 90s on November 30th, 2021, in a video titled "Unidentified early 90s indie art rock ‘in my dream.’". He recorded the song off of Portland based community radio station KBOO around 1993-1994.
Many doubted the song’s authenticity and believed it was AI generated. The OP gave an explanation for why the snippets he recorded were so short, saying in his channel’s bio:
“In the first half of the 90s, I used to record tapes from the radio which consisted of mostly incomplete songs, usually very short clips. I think the idea was to make a sort of weird radio sound-collage, and to create an audio snapshot of what was on the radio at the time, and to fit hundreds of songs onto a 60- or 90-minute tape.”
On January 23rd, 2024, the song was identified as Sally by Tao Jones, after the OP bought a compilation CD, which also helped solve a different song called Song in G Flat, by International Anthem, but only the live version of Sally was available at the time.
On March 27th, 2024, the 1992 cassette release version, which was the version the OP recorded, was posted to YouTube by user Nick Sloan.
Presumed Lyrics
[Intro]
The liquid I had awoke in, and, now, almost totally dissolved across my skin
It must have been some agent used in the developing process
I searched over myself to check for damaging effects
There were no bruises apparent, though my veins glowed a metallic silver
I slammed my forearms under some warm water, but it only seemed to sharpen the effect
I figured I come back to it later
I began to takе a look around
I found a drawer in the metal cabinеt with the lovers name on it
[Verse 1]
In my dreams, you're lying on the floor
Standing on, you devoured my head
Now you're gone, so I should talk to you
I laid down and kissed your face
[Verse 2]
I feel like driving too far away
It's always like a downward spiral
Nothing's really changing me
I'm always getting sucked back in
[Chorus]
Yea-ah
[Bridge]
You, you start telling yourself
You, you start telling yourself
Leaving me to imagine
The worst possible things
And I'm so tired of thinking of you
[Chorus]
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
[Verse 3]
In my dreams, I picked you off the floor
Between you and I, you had gone too far
All your spots have run you low
Fall away and achieve
[Chorus]
Euphoria
Euphoria
[Outro]
(Ambulance noises)
(Laughing)
(Ending riff)
(Distorted laughing, crying baby noises)
