Rock The Beat (Edited Version) is a formerly unidentified electro/disco song by Californian band Chilltown, released in 1983 as a single with multiple remixes.

The song was posted to YouTube on October 27th, 2012, by user 1966get, along with several other unknown songs. They said the songs were from 1983-1985, but didn’t provide any other information. Though this song seemed to come from a movie due to background noises.
On November 16th, 2025, the song was identified by Discord user rocketballboi as Rock The Beat (Edited Version) by Chilltown after he discovered a solved WatZatSong post of same song by user Pharcyde September 5th, 2012. It was identified by Pharcyde himself.[1]

Chilltown was a short lived electro band from Santa Monica, California, USA.
Noje of the band members' names are known.
In 1983, they released their first and only EP, this song, with six remixes.
