Information[]

Randwolf is the main original poster for nearly every single Fake Beatles Song. He began this collection of songs in a hand written binder in and around 1975. This collection spans around 285 listings on his website, if individual songs were counted it would be closer to 400. He collected most of his songs in the 70's, 80's and 90's, later converting all of them to CD's which he then converted to mp3's and uploaded them to his 1998 website to debunk fake and edited Beatles tracks. The website kept changing servers until he stayed with http://beatlestapes.atwebpages.com/outfakes.html.

YouTube Accounts[]

He goes under many different YouTube accounts. Here is what we know:

  • HerbBlake
  • Randwolf2
  • Randwolf3
  • (Lost Original Account)

HerbBlake - This account was used by him to upload his outfakes (for the 2nd time). This account is known best for uploading outfakes such as We'll Watch The World As It Happily Ends, Carnival Of Light & Piece Of Mind.

Lost Original Account - The name of this account is unknown at this time, it was used by him to upload all of his songs as links on his website which redirected you to the YT upload of it on this lost account. It was deleted following many (partially unfair) copyright claims.

Randwolf3 - He used this account to upload unrelated content from his cartoon website (https://randyscartoons.angelfire.com/randyscartoons.html). One famous fake Beatles song that was uploaded is The World Of Mr. Land.

Randwolf2 - He used this account to upload a few videos of his personal life and some pets he has. He also uploaded the 3 versions of The Dream upon technical request of a user in the comment section.

Related Media[]

In nearly all of his outfakes a Pioneer RT-707 / RT-701 appears in black and white and grainy footage as it spools for several seconds before looping. Randwolf himself made this edit in 2008 (possibly from earlier). He made this edit to fit into his introduction video. He made it black and white and grainy to simulate an old 1970's TV screen. Unfortunately, the original high quality colour video of the reel to reel is lost.

He posted some outfakes from Bas Muys using footage of a different reel to reel, the original footage of this has been found.

He also included another different reel to reel loop on 2 video's of his for the songs When I Come To Town & Rico Chette. (Full footage).

A song which was found to be Nimbo - Forget Her (1971) was another video he posted with footage of a spinning pink labeled vinyl record. Similar footage of a London Records vinyl has been found but the original pink label version has not been found.

He included a listing from his website which was said to be John Lennon and Freddy Lennon talking at the NEMS Office. It was not and instead was an April Fools joke audio posted on April 1st 2011. The audio clip was from East Enders (a UK TV show). Seen here.

Solves[]

He uploaded the Wings - Wild Wonders version of Relax In Bed to his deleted channel. He was given the official version by an unknown person which he uploaded to HerbBlake. So he was one of the solvers of the song alongside Louis Portela, he was unaware of the difference in the music.
