The song was posted onto WatZatSong on October 9th, 2022 by user Neoab. The song was from a video taken in 2008 of their Israeli friend. They said they weren’t sure of the artist was Israeli.
On October 22nd, 2022, the OP posted the nearly full song to Vocaroo. The song seems to have lyrics, but they’re hard to make out.
On October 31st, 2022, they posted a slightly higher quality snippet from a different video filmed by the friend. This video hasn’t been shared yet.
On July 30th, 2024, when asked if they could post the video, Neoab said they couldn’t because the video was “[their] friend dancing semi-naked in her room with the music in the background”.
A day later, Neoab confirmed that the song was on a CD the friend was given at an Israeli nature festival. The CD got broken.
On April 2nd, 2025, popular lostwave YouTuber Q would reupload the song onto her YouTube channel, giving the song more attention and establishing a search for the song.
As 2025, the song has become the second most listened unidentified WatZatSong sample on the website, at around 17,815 total listens. The song ahead of it is "Nobody Does It, Like You Do".
