On June 10th, 2023, user Kenny Cathead posted a one hour and 25 minute video titled “Unknown” to YouTube. It featured many snippets recorded off of the radio in the 1980s. The song played 26 minutes two 2 seconds into the video.

On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.

On April 10th, 2025, Discord user "PNWM-Trabial" identified the song as "Poland" by, "Tomek Lamprecht". The song was put into streaming services roughly two months prior, and they decided to try and Shazam the song. The artist behind the song had another lostwave, which was "Love Music" (formerly known as "Do You Believe In Angels") which was originally posted by guglielm onto WatZatSong.

Lyrics[]

[Verse 1]
Uniforms and desperation
Sprinting through my mind
Who could have this sweet old country?
Beautiful and kind
Someone crying tears like rain
Others want to kill
There are also those who die for
Being old and ill

[Verse 2]
Not enough to live your life for
Soldiers push and shove
Demagogues are sent directly
From Russia, with love
Those who pray and those who wish
Those who still believe
You may have to fight like [?]
The whole country you should lead

[Chorus]
You may have to fight like [?]
The whole country you should lead
You may havе to fight like [?]
The whole country you should lеad

[Outro]
