Paulinho Paneleiro (English: Gay Paulinho) is a verification needed Portuguese brejeira song (A style of folk music in Portugal known for it's suggestive and vulgar lyrics), it was posted to WatZatSong, YouTube and the LostwavePortugal Discord Server by the user satanhercule, around September 2024. The song is linked to another allegedly made by the same artist known as "Conceição" or "O Chulo da Conceição".

The song is possibly made by a Portuguese comedy group Quebra-Bilhas e Sus Muchachos, being possibly included in a very rare or unreleased cassette tape album released somewhere between the late 1980s/early 1990s titled Interdito A Menores De 18 Anos (English: Prohibited To People Under 18 Years) but there is no substantial evidence supporting this group's existence nor the cassette tape, only being mentioned in two obscure blogs in Portuguese.

History[]

Around September 2024, the user satanhercule, also known as Rapos, who left the Lostwave community, posted this song along with another song supposedly by the same artist, to the internet, after being asked, he states that he took it from old comedic websites, possibly Geocities or Sapo.pt websites in the early 2000s, and archived the two audio clips via CD. The OP later discovered it was made by some group called Quebra-Bilhas e Sus Muchachos, who released a very rare tape in the late 1980s/early 1990s with an unknown name, due to the audio file being titled quebra_bilhas.wav, but unfortunately there was no evidence supporting this information, other than two blogs in the Portuguese language mentioning the artist and the supposed cassette tape, and this song.

In one of the blogs (lostintheisland on Blogspot), it was discovered the existence of an old radio show from the extint station "Radio Energia", made by the comedy group "Banda Mecos". This radio show called "Top Do Miguelito" consisted of a random weekly chart based on obscure songs of the very Portuguese genre "Pimba," songs with vulgar lyrics or other funny and bizarre songs. In a post made in January 4th 2006, the user reminisces about what the show was like, with a playlist of songs from one of it's editions, with a reference to a song named "Marcha do Arrebenta-Cus" by the unknown band "Quebra-Bilhas e Sus Muchachos". In that same post in the comments below, an anonymous user said he used to own the cassette tape, but lost it. He also said the songs were hilarious, and he has even made a comic strip about the song "Paulinho Paneleiro". Since the song lyrics mention "such a perfect boy" named Paulinho, it's assumed that this is the song this user was referring to.

The song was later discovered in a clip from the same radio show, with it being slower than the snippet we have, and it was discovered the album being possibly titled "Interdito A Menores De 18 Anos", even thought it might not be the title. In the clip, the host Miguelito, a character allegedly voiced by Humberto Bernardo (portuguese musician, founder of the group "Banda Mecos" and TV presenter in the 90's), tells us that we have just listened to the song "Cada um Picha Para Si", creating even more confusion about the correct name for the song. In another edition of "Top do Miguelito" recovered recently, a small bad quality snippet of another song by "Quebra-Bilhas e Sus Muchachos" is played, titled by Miguelito as something that sounds like "O Chulo da Conceição", making it the second song linked to the same band.

The original tape or record remains as portuguese lost media, with pretty much no information about it.

Unfortunately, in mid-October 2024, the OP left the community, deleting his profile on Discord, leaving the search pending, with little to no updates, which led the case to be cold. In a brief comeback in November 2025, he revealed he's still searching for information about the songs and the band, unfortunately without any progress.

Lyrics (NSFW)[]

Era lindo o seu ar de paneleiro
Calça apertada e camisa posta a jeito
Sapato alto para realçar o cagueiro
Era o Paulinho, um rapaz tão perfeito...
