Paparazzi (formerly known as "Paparazzi") is a formerly unidentified synth-pop song by the Canadian band Paparazzi, released in 1984.

On August 11th, 2014, YouTuber user Zeelectronico would upload a video to the site titled "Unknown48", saying in video's description: "Unknown artist and title, help find out the artist and title" and that it was extracted from an audio tape, unfortunately they wouldn't provide a timeframe, but it was assumed to be in 80s.
3 Days later, on August 14th, 2014, Zeelectronico would post the snippet to SoundCloud, putting it in a self-made playlist called "80's - 90's Darkwave, minwave, coldwave, experimental, industrial ". Which gave a timeframe for the song.
On September 30th, 2023, WatZatSong user Nonoseacrest would repost a snippet of the song to the site, in the comments a user would provide a theory on what the possible title could be, saying that it could be titled "Haha Merci" (English translation: Haha thanks).
On January 27th, 2024, YouTuber user Mike Worst would reupload the song to his channel, saying in the description: "Not a whole lot of info regarding this one, other than it's from the 80s. Again, I don't know that much French, so any transcription of the lyrics is appreciated ".
On February 8th, 2024, users Marktrail and Randolurker would identify the song as "Paparazzi" by Paparazzi, released in 1984. Later that year on July 9th Marktrail would finish ripping the full album.

Paparazzi (band)[]
Paparazzi was an electro-rock and pop band from Quebec, Canada. They have three albums and eight singles to their name.
The band consisted of Andreï Morris Starr, Richard Samson and Sam Le Berg.
In 1984, the band released their first album Paparazzi, where this song was included.
In 1986, the band recorded the single Le Malotru.
In 1988, the band put out their second album titled Paparazzi. Here is a song from the album (music video included).
In 1992, the band put out their third album titled Paparazzi. Here is a song from the album.
In 1993, the band released their last single named Je Te Love. Music video included.
Their music was included in multiple compilation albums, mostly made by Quebec and French record labels. Their song Tant D'amour was featured in the album: Vive Les Hits Français! - French Connection '88. Produced and released by WEA Music.
Another example is their song Tango Magique, which appeared on the album La Compil' Volume 3. Produced and released by WEA Music.
