The song was played on WMBR during the Late Riser's club segment; Peter Choyce announced it to be "One With The Gun" by a Providence, Rhode Island based band called Corvette Summer.
The song would first be posted by Mixcould user The Peter Choyce Radio Archive on May 30th, 2025, with the song playing at the 14:25 mark. The next day on May 31st, WatZatSong user Sonolux would post the song to the site, providing a longer sample via Vocaroo.
On June 26th, 2025, YouTube user orange's stuff dump would upload the song to her channel under the placeholder name of "One With The Gun".
On July 17th, 2025, Discord user Mystic65 would find a last.fm page for a song called "Onew/gun" by Corvette Summer. There was no further information on the last.fm page for Corvette Summer.
Three days later on July 20th, Discord user Hinoyt would find a Rate Your Music page for Corvette Summer which included the song "Onew/Gun". A Member was contacted although they have yet to respond to any messages.
