The song was posted to WatZatSong on July 12th, 2023 by the user NY80sTapes/Kenny Cathead. The song was recorded off of a radio station in New York or New Jersey in 1985 or before. On November 24th, 2023, on the Fond My Mind Discord Server thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.^[1]Later that day, when Discord user Tyx asked Kenny why multiple songs weren’t featured in the original video Kenny posted on June 10th, he said there was so many clips that the friend recorded, and it was hard to keep track of them.

On June 30th, 2024, YouTube user Q reuploaded the song to the website. In the comments, users theorized it was a song with vocals, as a noise could be heard at the very end.^[2]
