The song was written by Nina Ossoff, Jeffrey Franzel, and Terry Silverwright. When contacted, Nina and Terry said they didn’t remember who the singer was.
Over time, the song was reuploaded to YouTube by several users, such as Ofrix, No Background, AlianTheObscure, and multiple others, amassing over 200 views.
