"Nobody Does It, Like You Do" is an unidentified album-oriented rock song that originated from a KNBC Earthquake Survival Guide video made in 1994 after the events of the Northridge Earthquake.

In 1994, right after the terrible events of the Northridge earthquake in Los Angeles, California, an Earthquake Survival Guide video was created by KNBC that gives tips on how to survive an earthquake. The song was used in the beginning of the video. The video was uploaded onto YouTube on September 19th, 2014.[1]
In 2022, user Jnthncrrll posted in the comment section of the video, saying that the song was featured in several more news programs, and that it was first used in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake coverage on KGO-TV 7.
On August 15th, 2023, a WatZatSong user nicknamed "JJsolo" would upload the 30-second song onto the website[2]. They've stated that the song came from a KNBC earthquake guide and that they've Shazamed the song but to no avail. They would later upload the song onto their YouTube channel on September 17th, 2024[3].
On May 27th, 2024, a Reddit user named "u/Sensitive_Square3645" would create a subreddit for the song on Reddit, naming it "r/NobodyDoesIt".[1] On July 2nd, 2024, Ziro reposted the song onto her channel, likely due to Just A Game’s full version being found, and it being compared to that song sometimes.[4]
On August 22nd, 2024, the producer of the KNBC Earthquake Survival Guide Mary Jane Roark stated the following:
“Yes, I was producer. I think that was an NBC theme song adapted & personalized to each market for news promos. KNBC must have owned it, that's why it was used. Each fall stations were offered the opportunity to localize NBC theme songs using the same music and vocal talent....for a price. If that isn't the source then it is possible the ad agency Jacobs & Gerber produced the song for Tobie Pate at KNBC news. Sorry that's all I've got after 30 years."
On September 1st, 2024, a seperate channel for the song would be created on the FMM discord server, being named "nobody-does-it-like-you-do". The song was placed into the "Other Unknown Songs (2)" category.
As 2025, the song has become the most listened unidentified WatZatSong sample on the website, at over 21,000 total listens. The song below it is “Psytrance Song”.
