In 2010, the song was first posted on Dailymotion along with the other known Lyon Funk songs by brahim69150, who had collected the kind of songs and uploaded to Dailymotion around the early 2010s. The track is played between 0:20 and 1:00.
In December of 2024, user "Lost Content And Nostalgic Videos" uploaded the song first to YouTube in her mixed video. The audio seemed to be high pitched for some reason.
On January 13th 2024, Ziro uploaded the song to her channel with an Easter-related image. A day later, Discord user Murphy identified the song as My Reason For Life by Merry Go Round after running it through WerZatSong.
