My Girls (formerly known as Sing Like No One's Listening or With My Girls) is a formerly unidentified bubblegum pop sung by Tennessee based singer Taryn Papa and written by Dani Colosimo, recorded in 2012. It samples Loril Crown - Do Me Right.

The song was posted to WatZatSong on June 7th, 2018, by user TipoDual. It was recorded directly off of a Russian mall’s radio, they didn’t provide a longer snippet at the time.
On March 13th, 2019, user werk512 discovered that the song directly sampled the instrumental from Laurel Crown's 2013 song Do Me Right, but the two songs are not by the same artist.[1][2]
2024
Over time, the song was reuploaded to YouTube by several users, such as Q, No Background, Pikazen, and multiple others, amassing over 20k views.
On August 1st, 2024, TipoDual reposted the song to YouTube, with their full recording of it, giving the song the placeholder name "Sing Like No One's Listening", alongside an AMV of the movie Bridesmaids.
Four days later, the song was thought to have been identified by Discord user Octavia as My Girls by Dani Colosimo after she had found a clip of the song on a website called new.funkeeboy.com which labeled it as Dani Colosimo - My Girls.[3]
On August 8th, 2024, Discord user Alan contacted Dani, who said that she was only the writer of the song. She said that she didn’t remember who the vocalist was, but she might’ve been named “Amy”.
This lead to people thinking the song was by Amy Crupi, who worked at Funkeeboy around 2013. Even TipoDual himself thought this, and he changed the name of his YouTube upload, saying the song was by Amy Crupi.[4]
On September 28th, 2024, Dani fully identified the song as My Girls by Taryn Papa after she reviewed the copyright listing.
