Molly’s Theme (formerly known as 36 Hour Broadcast) is a formerly unidentified instrumental new age song by James Newton Howard for the 1986 movie Wildcats.

The song was posted to YouTube on November 28th, 2016, by user KJCMuzique. They didn’t provide any information about the song.
On October 3rd, 2019, the OP reposted the song to YouTube. They said it was sent to them by their friend named Scott, who recorded the song off of WNHA in Chicago in 1988.
On July 4th, 2020, the song was identified by the OP as Molly’s Theme by James Newton Howard after they found the song in their collection of movie soundtracks.
Despite this, on April 3rd, 2023, user Holly George reposted the song to YouTube, still saying it was unknown. They didn’t provide any information and went on active shortly after posting the song.
On January 12th, 2024, user Q reuploaded the song to YouTube in hopes of identifying the song sooner, the upload linked Holly’s video as the source.
Only 3 hours later, YouTube user Tyx identified the song again as Molly’s Theme by James Newton Howard. He said that he simply recognized the song, despite not ever watching the movie.
