On May 27th, 2024, less than 10 days after user Q reuploaded it to YouTube, the song was identified by user Raven as Mama Say by Kwame.

Kwame Heshimu was a roots reggae and dub musician from Jamaica, but he relocated to New York, USA.
In 1975, he released his first single under the name Synthesis Inc, Being / Being (Ver.), with two remixes.
