We are the contributors, editors, and members of the Fandom wiki, Lostwave's Finest. We are here to help organize and record the findings and identifications of the many songs submitted by members that are lost to time.
We are also a part of the Lostwave community, which is a community that dedicate themselves on identifying lost music. As a branch of the Lostwave community, there are also many subreddits with the subject of uncovering songs like these. Examples include the subreddits, r/TheMysteriousSong, r/everyoneknowsthat, and the subreddit hub, r/Lostwave, among many others.
What is Lostwave?

Lostwave is a term and genre standing for songs/tracks with little to no known information, background, or origin. In other words, Lostwave is a branch of lost media specifically focused on music.
Some notable examples of Lostwave songs include the formerly unidentified pop song, "Ulterior Motives", and the most mysterious song on the Internet, commonly nicknamed by the community as "Like the Wind", which has been identified as “Subways Of Your Mind”, by the band FEX.
As of now in 2024, many songs known to the Lostwave community (including some of the most popular and enigmatic ones) have recently been identified, with some songs being found per month. This era has been coined by the community as the Golden Age of Lostwave.
Where do I start?
Before getting ready to contribute, it is important to read the list of rules first before contributing to the Lostwave's Finest Wiki as a wiki newcomer and contributor. Also, please acknowledge the article guidelines, if you are looking forward to create articles for songs, artists, etc.
