The song was first posted to WatZatSong on May 19th, 2022, by user cursedCalGal. She said it was on a CD that she found in her desk drawer. She didn’t provide a longer snippet,
On June 7th, 2022, the OP posted the full song to her YouTube channel Callie CD Archive. She gave it the placeholder name “Vamos De Party/Track 05”.
Two days later, she reposted the full song to WatZatSong, specifying that she found the CD the song was on in her basement,
She posted a higher quality version on July 17th, 2022. She provided more information, saying the filename was “Track05.cda” and it was from a Memorex CD-R Recordable Disc.
User Q reposted the song to her YouTube channel on August 4th, 2022, being either the second or third song she posted to her channel.
2023[]
On September 16th, 2023, YouTube user Marypelletier discovered that the song originated from the 2013 Wii and Xbox 360 video game Zumba Kids. The game didn’t credit the artist behind the song.
On September 18th, 2023, user RandomPerson67 discovered that the song was written by Pedro Vengoechea. Pedro was contacted and confirmed the song was by Cris Cabrera.
The information was verified when user Funado contacted Cris, who confirmed he was the singer on November 6th, 2023, fully identifying the song as Lento by Cris Cabera.
