"LUV4YRSELF" (formerly known as "Black Eye") is a nu-metal/funk metal song by Californian musician "DALEY SIRKUSS" (Alex McGowin Studer), released sometime in 1999. The song was originally misattributed to Limp Bizkit as "Chocolate Starfish And The Hotdog Flavored". It has also been misattributed to Korn as Untouchables & Some Other Shit.

The song was posted to YouTube on May 17th, 2020, by user Federico Ceccatto, saying in the video’s description:
”A song found in WinMX, circa 2002-2003. No one seems to know the true name or where it came from. As of 2020, it's been driving me mad for 17 years. I'm uploading it here in fear my old, barely used HDD is the only place a copy exists today. Tap on "SHOW MORE" to read my sad story.
Below I list everything I know about it, which is admittedly very little given I've obsessed about this track on and off for close to two decades now.
I found this song on WinMX (Windows Music Exchange, an old peer-to-peer network + client application, and a crowd favorite for pirating music in the early '00s) on 2003-08-13. I stumbled upon it not as a single track, but as part of a full-length MP3 rendition of Korn's Untouchables album, originally released on 2002-06-11. The filename is "KoRn - Untouchables - ENTIRE ALBUM.mp3", clocking at 1.33:50. According to Spotify, Untouchables is only one hour, five minutes long. The uploader, who went by the name of "Krime_Reanimated" named the album "Untouchables (Whole Fuckin' Album & More)" in the metadata, suggesting some kind of bonus material.
Contrary to common practice (at the time), the album is not a valid AlbumWrap file; you cannot use a splitter to recover the original track listing or their metadata. This is all there is as far as tags go, as reported by foobar2000:
- Artist Name : KoRn

- Date : 2002

(NOTE: the last three tags -the ones in UPPERCASE- are originally surrounded by angled brackets, YouTube does not allow them in a video's description)
The album contains some extra songs from similar bands or featuring Jonathan Davis. There appears to be an 8-minute long radio interview at the very end. Some of the official songs may be the leaked versions prior to the album's release. For some reason, they're not strictly in the same order as the official album release (even if you ignore the extras). Among these you can find:
- 1. this mystery song (as the 2nd track)
- 2. Adema - Blow It Away
- 3. Snot - Take It Back
- 4. Sepultura - Lookaway
- 5. the aforementioned interview (James Shaffer & Fieldy as guests)
In the following link to SongMeanings (https://songmeanings.com/songs/view/3458764513820553159/), you'll find the lyrics for "KoЯn - Black Eye" which match this mystery song (sans typos). They were uploaded by KoRn_Fan on 2002-08-23, a user with a single contribution. He allegedly found the song as a standalone track also on WinMX with the title he based the lyrics' entry on. Suspiciously, he behaves as if the song was really from Korn (regardless of the fact a Jonathan Davis-like voice can only be heard during the chorus). Some commenters doubt of its origin but appear unable to pinpoint its true name or recording artist.
KoRn_Fan's profile was only active around a year after this post. The original WinMX author of my version, Krime_Reanimated, only shows up in Google as a brief footnote: a positive review for a Winamp 2.9 skin which you can find here: https://winampheritage.com/skin/nucleo-nlog-v2g/81567. The comment also dates all the way back to 2002.
And... that's it. There is no point in listing all the false leads and dead ends I pursued over the last seventeen years. This is all I actually _know_ about this song. I've extracted the 6:59 track (along with the first seconds of "Blame" because that's exactly how it flows in the original mp3, unexpected cutoff included) and uploaded them here in hopes of finding someone who is at least aware of this song's existence.
Why do I still lose sleep over this every now and then? I cannot say. Shazam and SoundHound have no idea what it is. Because of that, I don't actually expect it to exist on any streaming platform. ASCAP is probably not aware of it. Why is a song so well played, recorded, mixed, and mastered absolutely lacking in attribution? It was fairly common for up-and-coming bands and artists to release songs on P2P networks with trick names such as remixes of popular songs or "new"/"unreleased" tracks of genre-compatible artists. Normally you'd chuck them away because the quality was immediately terrible as to betray the deception. Not here.
If you have any lead, absolutely any, please feel free to leave me a comment. As I write this, the clock reads 5.30 AM: here I am once again losing sleep over this damn song.”

Lyrics[]
Love for yourself
If the one you've got,
If not for yourself
Then you can not
Give some away to the one who may
Just need it now
Somewhere, somehow
I'll tell you this, the sound of glitz
Just from a kiss
To the one you miss
You got to hear it from my lips, lips
To comprehend these pointer tips
And I scream out loud,
she'll break you [down]
you need self restraint
to give love away
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
You gotta have love for yourself
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
To give love away
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
You gotta have love for yourself
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
To give love away
I kid you not
That what you thought
As to be true
I’m telling you
Is nothing real
And you will feel
The changes I am speaking to
Are in your heart
And you can start to change it now for good and how the difference feels so new and real
You'll understand
The master plan
And I scream out loud,
she'll break you [down]
you need self restraint
to give love away
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
You gotta have love for yourself
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
To give love away
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
You gotta have love for yourself
Love for yourself
Love for yourself
To give love away
