Lyrics[]

[Verse 1]
Here to tell you a story
She's got so many people to talk to
I think you've heard it in another language
And you've read it under different circumstances
To this, she says

[Chorus]
Don't you wanna go home?
Don't you wanna have a good time?
Don't you wanna see my name
In all the headlines?

[Verse 2]
She's doing what she can for her people
I don't think she can handle a showdown
She's got so many people to talk to
That she's heading for a nervous breakdown
To this, she says

[Chorus]
Don't you wanna go home?
Don't you wanna have a good time?
Don't you wanna see my name
In all the headlines?
Don't you wanna go home?
I thought you'd wanna have a good time?
I thought you'd wanna see my name
In all the headlines?

[Verse 3]
She's wearing what she can for her public
Selling herself for her duties
She says, "I don't wanna talk to no one
Or is it no one wants to talk to me?"
To this, she says

[Chorus]
Don't you wanna go home?
Don't you wanna have a good time?
Don't you wanna see my name
In all the headlines?
Don't you wanna go home?
I thought you'd wanna have a good time
I thought you'd wanna see my name
In all the headlines
Don't you wanna go home?
I could show you all a good times
I could show you all my names
In every headline
