The song was first posted to Hearthis.at on June 30th, 2017, by user SFDPS. The song originated from a DJ mix played by Kurt Borusiewicz at the DCA Nightclub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on December 16th, 1978.
On January 15th, 2018, the song was reposted to SoundCloud by user Trackidhelp under the name “KB01 DJ Mix Track”.
On August 12th, 2023, WatZatSong user Rebornjar discovered the song was most likely a demo of We Got Rhythmic Feet by AKB. The song sounds similar, the duo is from Philadelphia, the song released in 1979, and Kurt is one half of the duo. Andy has been contacted, but he hasn’t responded, and Kurt died in 1994.
