The song was posted to YouTube on July 19th, 2021, by user Mattias Jakob. The video's description read:
"For a couple of years this song has been sitting on my hard drive and I can't identify it. The file name says it's by The Drifters and is called "Just drifting along". But I'm sure the track cannot originate from The Drifters as the voices sound completely different.
Up to now I didn't succeed to find the song on the internet, SoundHound and Shazam didn't offer any help, googling parts of the lyrics wasn't successful either.
Perhaps anybody knows the title - or the content ID system knows ist, but I don't think so as dedicated song recognition platforms have already failed and especially at the beginning it's clearly noticable that the track has been drawn through a time stretching algorithm earlier on. Please don't hesitate to write a comment if you know something."
