Jingle Bells (Traditional) (formerly known as Whimsical Christmas Tune) is a formerly unidentified Experimental instrumental cover of the 1857 James Pierpont Christmas song "Jingle Bells" by American composer Don Voegeli, released in 1977 on the album Instant Production Music Volume 9: Holiday & Seasonal Music.

On June 11th, 2023, user Kenny Cathead posted an hour and a half long video called Unknown to YouTube. It featured many snippets that were recorded off of the radio in the 1980s. The song played at WFMU.
On October 6th, 2023, the song was identified by YouTuber Bloost Media as Boogie by Richard Peaslee.

Born in February 8th, 1920 and died in November 21st, 2009.
Donald Joseph Voegeli was a pianist and composer, who wrote classical, jazz and experimental music. He taught in the music department at University of Wisconsin; Was Music Director at Radio Station WHA, located on campus, during the 60's. He was also known for writing the theme song for All Things Considered. Voegeli came up with something that will sound more familiar in 1974. The theme has gone through three more updates since.
