The song was posted to WatZatSong on July 17th, 2011, by user Grinch. They didn't provide any information, but they linked a longer snippet on ZShare, but it doesn't work anymore. They also said they thought it might've been by Michael McDonald, but they didn't know the title.[1]

On November 30th, 2024, the song was identified by WZS user numerophobe as In Your Eyes by Todd Baytee, presumably after running it through WerZatSong.

Lyrics[]

[Verse 1]
Somewhere in the night
When my heart took the city
On the corner of a street
Waiting for a man to meet at midnight
Once upon a dream
When the night was so lonely
You were there to rescue me
Look and see what I can see in your eyes

[Chorus]
(In your eyes) I see your fantasy
(I can't hide) The joy you bring to me
(By your side) Is where I wanna be
(In your eyes) I see the magic

[Verse 2]
Another neon night
Takes me back the city
If I hurry, if I dare
Maybe she'll be waiting there at midnight
However did it seem
To be more than a moment
Just another place in time
Searching for what I might find in your eyes

[Chorus]
(In your eyes) I see your fantasy
(I can't hide) The joy you bring to me
(By your side) Is where I wanna be
(In your eyes) I see the magic, magic

[Bridge]
I knew that you would be there
The light that I saw in the air was the magic in your eyes

[Chorus]
(In your eyes) I see your fantasy
(I can't hide) The joy you bring to me
(By your side) Is where I wanna be
(In your eyes) I see the magic
(In your eyes) I see your fantasy
(I can't hide) The joy you bring to me
(By your side) Is where I wanna be
(In your eyes) I see the magic, magic

[Outro]
Well, we should be making love
You're my fantasy of love
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can't get enough
(Well, we should be making love) Should be making love
(You're my fantasy of love)
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can't get enough
(Well, we should be making love) Oh, yeah
(You're my fantasy of love)
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can't get enough
(Well, we should be making love)
(You're my fantasy of love) Should be making love
(I can never get enough of your magic) Oh yeah, all night long
Well, we should be making love
You're my fantasy of love
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can't get enough
(Well, we should be making love)
(You're my fantasy of love)
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can't get enough
(Well, we should be making love)
(You're my fantasy of love)
(I can never get enough of your magic) I can never get enough
(Well, we should be making love)
(You're my fantasy of love)
(I can never get enough of your magic)
