I Want to Hold You (previously known as Leaving me Alone) is a formerly unidentified pop song by Israeli singer Noam Kaniel. It originated from episode 18 the show Sweet Valley High 'Dancing Fools”, aired in 1994.

The song was first posted to WatZatSong on November 22nd, 2011 by user thehollies. They didn’t provide any information about the song, and the snippet was less than 30 seconds.
On December 15th, 2021, user Jeffly discovered the song came from a 1994 episode of the show Sweet Valley High after they searched the lyrics on google and found a transcript of the episode, then found an upload of it on YouTube. The artist or title wasn’t credited.
According to IMDB, the writers for the songs in the episode were Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, but neither of them have responded to any messages about the song.
On November 13th, 2024, the song was identified by user Jack Ampersand as I Want to Hold You by Noam Kaniel. There isn’t a full version available currently, but copyright registry mentions Sweet Valley High as an alternate title and Noam said he sung it.
