The song was also in a YouTube video by Manis Studio that was posted on July 31st, 2019. Manis Studio is a bot account which posts Indonesian celebrity gossip videos that have included over a dozen other unidentified songs. As Manis Studio was a bot, it couldn’t provide any information about the songs.
Over a month prior, on June 25th, 2019, Reddit user Sweguin found an upload by the channel, which included another formerly unidentified song called Memory Of You, after he used the website PetitTube, He posted the song to the r/NameThatSong subreddit, asking who made it.
Around 2021, it was discovered most of the songs were unreleased demos written and produced by Gary Miller after multiple copyright registries with titles that matched the lyrics were found. Despite Gary Miller confirming he wrote the songs, he didn’t remember who the singers were when he was contacted prior to his death in 2022. The song was also written by Mark Mueller and Andy Goldmark.
On December 8th, 2023, user MelNobody commented on Q’s reupload of the other formerly unidentified song called Love Liquid Therapy. They said they found an upload of the song crediting it to VHF Production Music. The channel also had an upload of another Manis Studio song, but the VHF Production Music channel had been deleted.
In early June of 2024, various other YouTube content farms were discovered that credited the song to VHF Production Music. VHF is a botnet that had bots plagiarize news articles and reupload family vlog videos. There were multiple other songs that were included in these other videos that weren’t featured in Manis Studio videos.
A Spanish version of it was later released by Xarah in 2005 as "Quiero Saber", Xarah and Andy were contacted and neither of them knew the singer either. Xarah said this recording is a demo that was given to her, so this recording was made before that version,
