I Wanna Be Old School (formerly known as Wanna Be A Circle Jerk) is an formerly unidentified Hardcore Punk song by Californian band The B-Sides, released in 1999 on the album The B-Sides.

On September 15th, 2023, a post was made by user The wizard on the Terminal Escape blog featuring a rip of a mixtape labeled January 2001, which, according to him, sat in his shelf for a long time and had no cover or track list.
On October 10th, 2023, user n00q reposted the tape recordings on Internet Archive as part of a collection compiling the tape rips posted on the Terminal Escape blog.
On April 1st, 2025, YouTuber Mike Worst reposted the song on WatZatSong along with What You Say and several other songs from the mixtape, which have since been identified. Mike Worst would also post a tracklist on the FMM Discord on that day.
On June 25th, 2025, Mike Worst uploaded the song on YouTube and posted the tracklist on the WatZatSong post. The next day, he would identify the song as I Wanna Be Old School by The B-Sides.
