Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
As I sit here
In my favorite chair
Thinking of things I used to do
All of a sudden, in despair
My mind turns on you
[Pre-Chorus]
I regret the day
When you slipped through my fingers (My fingers)
How I was wrong
Your lovin' is gone
But I still let the thought linger on
[Chorus]
You, I still love you
I still love you
I still love you
Yes, I do
[Verse 2]
I still love you
Really and truly
But there's nothing I can do
Sometimes I cry, wanting to die
But what will be will be
[Pre-Chorus]
I regret the day
When you slipped through my fingers (My fingers)
How I was wrong
Your lovin' is gone
But I still let the thought linger on
[Chorus]
You, I still love you
I still love you
I still love you
Yes, I do
[Verse 2]
I still love you
Really and truly
But there's nothing I can do
Sometimes I cry, wanting to die
But what will be will be
[Pre-Chorus]
I regret the day
When you slipped through my fingers (My fingers)
How I was wrong
Your lovin' is gone
But I still let the thought linger on
[Chorus]
You, I still love you
I still love you
I still love you
Honest, I do
I still love you
I still love you
I still love you
Honest, I do
