The song was first posted to Russian website vk.com on March 24th, 2018, by user Sergey Viktorov. He said it was from 1993-1994, but didn’t provide any information about where the song came from. He also said the singer had an Eastern European accent.[1]
On September 16th, 2022, the song was reposted to WatZatSong by user KollektivX. They said the song is similar to Pet Shop Boys, it was from a 1993-1994 tape, and could have been made by a Russian band. They said the song was “sought by dear friend Serg”, so they likely got it from Sergey’s post.
Over time, the song was reuploaded to YouTube by several users, such as FatBird, Anon0122, Ofrix, Q, 𝑀𝑟. 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑝𝑠, and multiple others, amassing over 5k views.
