I Go So Low For You (formerly known as “Back On The Street Again”) is a formerly unidentified soft rock song by New York based duo Beds (Jan Warner and Jim McAllister), released in 1981 on their self titled album.

Search History[]

On June 10th, 2023, user Kenny Cathead posted a one hour and 25 minute video titled “Unknown” to YouTube. It featured many snippets recorded off of the radio in the 1980s. The song played five minutes and 21 seconds into the video.

Kenny reposted the song to his WatZatSong account NY80sTapes On June 17th, 2023, giving it the placeholder name of "Back On The Street Again". It was recorded around 1982 off a New York or New Jersey based radio station.

On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.

On January 28th, 2025, WZS user Hookedrago identified the song as “I Go So Low For You” by the New York based duo Beds, after she had Shazamed it.
