I Get Static is a formerly unidentified synthpop/disco song by the British duo Let Them Eat Cake, released in 1984 on the single of the same name, and on the PRT label.
It is known as one of the earliest examples of a modern-day Lostwave in WatZatSong, being searched as of 2007, unfortunately, this unfinished snippet is what we have of the song, and audio is needed since around 2013.

October 2007 - February 2009[]
On 30th October, 2007, a 29-second snippet of a mysterious 80s song was posted to the French music identification forum website WatZatSong by the mysterious user pap.
He stated that he recorded it on a cassette tape from around the mid-1980s, specifically 1984-1985, possibly on a radio station in France, with the ambiguous description:
"Enregistrement d'environ 1984/85"
Later on the same day, the song was falsely proposed by the user harpoon as an unknown song, it is unknown what the song was before the partial solve.
On February 2009, 2 years later, as the OP retired from the website, the famous user pianoman74 requested the band behind the song might be the Dutch band Hot Shot, with no debunks provided until that.
Early 2010s - Lead, Confirmation and Song Solve[]
Later, on 2013, the user philipp84, debunked pianoman74's lead, stating it's not the band.
But by mid-year, the same user provided a more promising lead, being this album, the OP contacted the seller on Discogs, but didn't respond until now.
On 2013, the seller responded, stating that it is the song they were looking for, therefore succesfully, partially identifying the song as I Get Static by Let Them Eat Cake.
Audio of this song is needed, since the OP couldn't provide any audio of the song, and due to the song's obscurity, the album hasn't been posted online.

Let Them Eat Cake (LTEC) is a very shortlived British duo from the United Kingdom.
The band members are brothers Jacqueline Wilson (vocals) and Shaun Michael Wilson (guitar and composition).
They only released one single in 1984, that being this song, and shortly after, they disbanded.
