The song was posted to WatZatSong on June 29th, 2018 by user TipoDual. It was recorded directly off of a Russian mall’s radio.
On December 6th, 2023, the OP reposted the song to YouTube, with his full recording of it, he also posted full versions of most of his other songs.
In September of 2024, Discord user Isle discovered a copyright listing for a song called I Feel Me Wanting You Baby written by James Dyke and Kiminey Thomas. The listing credited Kiminey as the singer too, but there weren’t any other songs by Kiminey available online, so he couldn’t compare the singers’ voices.
On December 11th, 2024, the song was fully identified by Discord user AlanTheRoblox as I Feel Me Wanting You Baby by Kiminey Thomas after Alan contacted him and he confirmed he sung the song.
On August 11th, 2025, a stereo quality recording of the song was found by Isle, having been obtained through a promotional CDr of publishing company BOK Music's catalog.
